I am forwarding a copy of this to a friend. Her 2 sons fall neatly into your writing above. She longs for the connection. They are living their lives. It won't help to take away her feelings, but it will help her to feel less alone in them. Thanks.

I am so grateful! And feel free to share away! I write something every Wednesday in this Moms of Bigs space. And I'm also all over FB and Instagram if that helps @momsofbigs! We've got to stick together, right?

Good morning. Once again your words are right on point. I can so relate to them.

It gives me reassurance and hope that I am not alone in this journey. Thank you.

I am so grateful my friend. We have to really stick together, right? It's the only way to do it!!

My son texts randomly from college. His time. His subjects. But reliably, if he leaves campus (usually for a long drive to concert) he will text me “back on campus” in the wee hours of the morning. I love that he feels the need to “check in” that all is well (even when I didn’t realize he’d left town).
